Don Ed Hardy is an American tattoo artist born in Iowa in 1945, and raised in Southern
California from the age of one. Hardy was the first Western tattoo artist to incorporate
Japanese tattoo aesthetic and technique into his work and is an accomplished fine artist, as
well.
